Rev. William Malick

Founder of Fresh Start, District Superintendent SPD of the C&MA

Bill Malick’s ministry track record includes leadership at various levels of the local church from youth to lead pastor to church redevelopment planting. The concentration of his work covers turn-around-church and church planting. For more than 20 years the focus has been on church planting training, leadership and visionary leadership development. In 1992, Bill founded the Church Multiplication Training Center and Church Planting BootCamp. The CMTC still exists today with many thousands of church planters have been trained across North, Central and South America. In 2002, Bill became the Church Multiplication Director for the South Pacific District of The C&MA and in 2008 the District Superintendent. During a portion of that time Bill served as the C&MA national director for church multiplication. Now, as a natural off-shoot of his district ministries, Bill has combined his district church redevelopment responsibilities with his years of exposure to redevelopment and planting in order to develop and offer training for working with the local church for a Fresh Start. Thus, the birth of the Fresh Start ministry bringing new beginnings to struggling and dying churches. Bill and his wife Debbie live in Murrieta, California and have four married children and nine grandchildren.


Dr. Kenneth E. Priddy

Dr. Ken Priddy is a seasoned ministry development practitioner, trainer and consultant who serves as Executive Director of the GO Center and as President of the Ken Priddy Group, Inc. He’s equally at home with church planting and church revitalization. Ken’s books include The Leadership Ladder: Developing Missional Leaders in the Church (co-authored with Dr. Steve Ogne), The Silent Church: 39 Reasons We Keep the Good News to Ourselves (e-book), and Jubal’s Worship Primer: Leading Worship and Leading Worship Leaders (e-book). Ken and his wife, Sharon, have four adult children and four grandchildren. They reside in Richmond, VA.


Pastor Jeremy Malick

Fresh Start Presenter and Co-Founder of Church Coach Ministries

Before being called into ministry, Jeremy held several positions in the banking world from Branch Manager to Mortgage Sales Manager over the course of 12 years. Jeremy was called into ministry in 2007, where God has used his business background for His kingdom. His passion is consulting with churches on stewardship, capital campaigns, and various financial areas. He also offers “hands on” experience in church planting. Jeremy also coaches church leaders and teams in Assimilation. He and his wife, Melody, and their three children live in Temecula, California. 


Dr. Steve Ogne

Co-Author of the Fresh Start Manual and Church Coach Specialist

Steve Ogne has trained more than 10,000 ministry leaders from all over the world and personally coached more than 500 leaders, with a focus on the starting, strengthening and multiplying of missional churches. Since 1990 Steve Ogne has served with Church Resource Ministries (CRM), as a national coach, providing coaching and strategic guidance to thousands of church leaders in the US and internationally. His most recent book is TransforMissional Coaching: Empowering Leaders in a Changing Ministry World. In addition, he is the co-author of three additional published works: The Church Planter’s Toolkit and Churches Planting Churches with Dr. Bob Logan and Empowering Leaders Through Coaching with Tom Nebel. Steve and Dr. Bob Logan created the New Church Incubator (a coaching, training, and support system for new church planters adopted by over 50 denominations) and the Parent Church Network (to prepare and support existing congregations in the process of birthing new churches). In 1993, Steve partnered with Bill Malick to found the Church Multiplication Training Center and the original Church Planter’s Boot Camp, a four-day intensive training and coaching experience that has benefited more than 10,000 church planters in the last decade. Steve developed the original training materials and activities for the Boot Camp. These training materials and activities are recognized as the foundational training for U.S. church planters. Steve developed and taught a Doctor of Ministry program in Church Multiplication Movements at Bakke Graduate University in Seattle, Washington and also teaches a course in raising and coaching leaders at Reformed Theological Seminary in
Orlando, Florida.
